Scrum Master

Bridge351 is looking for a Scrum Master to join a strategic project for the Comisión Europea. This is a 6-month project, full remote from Europe.

Tasks:

• Facilitates Scrum events such as Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and backlog refinement.

• Helps the team follow PM² agile principles and keeps the team aligned with agile ways of working.

• Removes impediments that block the development team from progressing with sprint work.

• Supports the Product Owner in backlog management, prioritization, and creating clear user stories.

• Encourages team self-organization instead of managing the team in a traditional command-and-control way.

• Documentation of the agile way of working of the team.

• Improves team collaboration and communication within the team and with other development teams.

• Monitors sprint progress using Jira boards, burndown charts, and sprint reports.

• Coaches the team and organization on agile practices, Scrum roles, and continuous improvement.

• Drives continuous improvement by helping the team identify lessons learned and implement improvements after retrospectives.

Knowledge and skills:

• Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (PM², PRINCE2, PMBOK, SCRUM – certification in any of these methodologies is a plus)

• Excellent capacity for writing clear and structured documents.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Good knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

• Good ability to give high level presentations and facilitate meetings.

• Ability to work in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in a team, understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions.

• Experience in the use of M-365 toolset including Excel is a must.

• Experience in the use of PowerBI, Power Automate and JIRA is must.

Work mode: Remote from EU (2 travels to Brussels foreseen)
