Senior ServiceNow Architect

About the mission

Frontex, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Architect to help shape the design and architecture of its ServiceNow platform. You'll be the technical reference point connecting business needs with scalable, well-governed platform solutions — working alongside ServiceNow Developers and supporting Frontex's organization-wide service management capabilities.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and communicating ServiceNow platform architecture, including interoperability with other systems

• Setting standards for design, development, quality and testing

• Translating business and user needs into solid technical architecture

• Gathering and assessing business requirements, and presenting proposed solutions to stakeholders at different levels

• Supporting project management for ServiceNow development and improvement initiatives

• Selecting and evaluating new technologies, and optimizing the platform for performance, security and quality

• Producing and maintaining documentation: technical designs, SOPs, user manuals and knowledge base articles

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of relevant IT professional experience, including at least 3 years in a similar architecture-focused role

• Strong, hands-on experience designing ServiceNow platform solutions (on-prem experience is a plus)

• Solid knowledge of the ServiceNow product portfolio and Service Management practices

• Experience with systems modelling tools (Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect or similar)

• Knowledge of integration technologies (Web Services, SSO, LDAP, REST, etc.)

• Understanding of complex, interoperable information systems and IT security standards

• Strong communication, documentation and troubleshooting skills, with a service-oriented mindset

Education & certifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certificate (or equivalent)
