UX/UI Design & Analysis Specialist – SharePoint Online Intranet
🏛️ About the Role
The European Investment Bank Group (EIBG) is looking for a UX/UI Design & Analysis Specialist to join its digital workplace team in Luxembourg.
In this role, you will lead user experience analysis and interface design for SharePoint Online-based intranet components, working closely with EIBG technical teams and front-end developers in an agile, sprint-based delivery environment.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Evaluate business objectives, user expectations and intranet scenarios to guide UX/UI design decisions.
Design user interface concepts, page layouts, navigation patterns and interaction models for SharePoint Online-based intranet components.
Produce UX/UI artefacts including wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, design specifications and usability guidelines.
Design and implement reusable UI elements, layouts, styles and interaction patterns using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, client-side theming and SharePoint Framework conventions.
Ensure that designed and implemented interfaces comply with accessibility and responsive design principles, supporting different devices, screen sizes and assistive technologies.
Contribute to the definition, implementation and maintenance of UI consistency, design systems and reusable UI patterns across the intranet.
Support usability reviews, accessibility validation activities and iterative UI refinements based on stakeholder feedback and testing outcomes.
Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure design intent is accurately and consistently translated into implementation.
✅ Mandatory Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Web Design, or other relevant field.
In the absence of a Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field, demonstrated equivalent professional experience of at least 8 years will be accepted.
✅ Mandatory Experience
At least 7 years of experience in UX/UI design for web-based applications or portals.
Demonstrated experience on multiple projects involving accessibility-compliant and responsive user interface design.
Proven hands-on experience implementing UI designs, including development or adaptation of user interface components, layouts, styles and interaction behaviour using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, client-side scripting and SharePoint Online UI frameworks.
⭐ Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Experience in intranet, extranet or enterprise portal projects.
Experience working within Microsoft 365 environments and designing interfaces for SharePoint Online.
