Main Reponsibilities:
Analysis and design of test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements;
Preparation and management of test data;
Execution of manual tests, including regression testing;
Logging, analysis, and follow-up of defects;
Test progress reporting;
Collaboration with the team/domain (developers, PO, BA, TL) in the definition, review, and validation of tests and evidence;
Promotion of QA best practices within the team/domain.
Mandatory Skills:
Degree in Computer Science or similar;
2 to 5 years of experience in similar roles;
Knowledge of requirements/functional analysis and effort estimation;
Experience in designing and executing manual tests;
Experience in defect management;
Ability to identify test data and prepare/manage it;
Experience with Confluence, Jira / Xray;
Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.;
Testing certification (ISTQB Foundation);
Knowledge of testing best practices;
Ability to work autonomously; Proactivity, critical thinking, and quality-oriented mindset;
Strong communication skills with different types of stakeholders: business analysts, application managers, developers, among others;
Strong ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to prepare test data and validate results through database queries, API calls, or other programmatic methods, not only through screen validation;
Experience with exploratory testing and other testing types (e.g. Performance, Accessibility);
Programming knowledge;
Experience with test automation;
Experience with low-code technologies (e.g. Appian, BluePrism, and Microsoft Power Platform – PowerApps, PowerAutomate);
Ability to define testing approaches/strategies;
Experience in projects within the banking sector.
