Short Description:

We are seeking a consultant with hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Talos, and the Cilium CNI.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network operations and extensive experience configuring Cilium over extended periods.

Experience with EgressIP solutions and managing unstable network environments is highly valuable.

Ability to deliver hard feedback and constructive criticism is paramount.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with OVN.

Task:

Analyze and review our Cilium configuration for Talos to create recommendations that are aligned with the LEGO network architecture and quirks.

Document major decisions in ADRs using markdown for future reference.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong background in Kubernetes and Cilium, with a focus on on-premise setups, followed by cloud environments.

• Familiarity with Openshift, EKS, AWS, BGP, eBPF, and Grafana is advantageous.

Experience:

• Proven track record with Cilium for over a year.
