📌 Role
Senior Atlassian Platform Architect (DevOps/Cloud)
🎯 About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Atlassian Platform Architect to join a strategic project in the energy sector, focused on building a cloud-native internal platform that enables development teams to efficiently create and deliver digital solutions.
This role will play a key part in defining the architecture of the Atlassian platform (Jira, Confluence, and JSM), ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency. The platform will be Kubernetes-based and integrated with identity, observability, and internal services, allowing teams to focus on product development rather than infrastructure.
🧠 Responsibilities
• Define the target architecture for the Atlassian platform (Jira, Confluence, JSM) on Kubernetes
• Design multi-tenancy models, high availability, and failover strategies
• Define system boundaries, interfaces, and ownership models
• Integrate the platform with IAM solutions (e.g., Keycloak) and define identity and access models
• Design secure access patterns for internal and external users
• Define integration architectures with systems such as monitoring, CMDB, notification services, and external tools
• Establish API and/or event-driven integration models
• Define SLAs, SLOs, and observability strategies (e.g., Prometheus)
• Design release, upgrade, and version management strategies (including Atlassian plugins)
• Ensure alignment with security standards, private cloud constraints, and architectural governance
• Collaborate with engineering teams and both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Document architectural decisions in a structured manner
✅ Mandatory Requirements
• Proven experience as an Atlassian Solutions Architect (Jira, Confluence, and/or JSM) in enterprise environments
• Strong architectural mindset with the ability to design scalable solutions
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms
• Experience with IAM and identity federation (e.g., Keycloak or equivalent)
• Experience designing multi-tenant platforms
• Solid understanding of security concepts (ingress, authentication, service exposure)
• Experience defining SLAs/SLOs and monitoring/alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus)
• “Platform as a product” mindset
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
➕ Nice to Have
• Experience running Atlassian tools in private cloud or regulated environments
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks
• Experience integrating with CMDB, ticketing systems, and DevOps platforms (e.g., GitLab)
• Experience building self-service platforms
• Experience defining Atlassian plugin governance processes
• Experience designing external-facing platforms (customer/partner portals)
• Familiarity with observability and incident management practices
