The product Risk Projection Engine – Sunrise is an actuarial platform for dynamic financial analysis (DFA), based on models and using stochastic projections for predictions related to Solvency 2, IFRS17, ALM and Internal Model Review.
The Sunrise platform runs in a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment and is supported by a team of specialists distributed between offices in France and Portugal. The purpose of this position is to integrate the Sunrise development team and support the evolution of the Sunrise software.

✅ MISSION
Support the definition and implementation of the Azure strategy for the Sunrise platform, deploying scalable, reliable, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.
Monitor and optimize Azure performance and cost.
Work with the security team to ensure Azure resources are securely configured and aligned with internal security standards and regulations.
Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure, collaborating with other IT teams such as Network and Cloud Broker to ensure quick resolution.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join the Sunrise platform team. You will design, deploy, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, supporting platform modernization and private networking initiatives, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.

✅ RESPONSIBILITIES
Azure Cloud Infrastructure
Design, deploy, and maintain Azure resources (AKS, Batch, Storage, Key Vault, PostgreSQL, Function Apps, Data Factory, VNets) using Terraform, Terragrunt, and ARM templates.
Kubernetes Operations
Manage Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests across multiple environments and regions, including NGINX ingress, secrets management (Key Vault CSI), and resource quotas.
CI/CD Pipeline Engineering
Build and maintain Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for build, test, and deployment, integrating security scanning (Trivy, SonarQube) and artifact management.
Networking & Security
Implement private endpoints, VNet integration, storage firewalling, private DNS zones, and NSG rules to support “Go Private” initiatives.
Database Management
Oversee PostgreSQL administration, migrations, and disaster‑recovery replication.
Automation & Tooling
Develop Azure Function Apps (Python, C#) and automation scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for monitoring and operational tasks.
Troubleshooting & Observability
Perform deep Linux and JVM debugging for production incidents. Operate Grafana, Dynatrace, and Azure Monitor for APM and alerting.
Multi‑Environment Management
Ensure configuration consistency and reliable promotion across more than four environments and two Azure regions.
Containerization
Build and maintain Dockerfiles for microservices and tooling.
Citrix Support
Support and troubleshoot Citrix virtual desktop environments.

✅ SKILLS
10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering roles.
Expertise in Azure services: AKS, Storage, Key Vault, PostgreSQL, Function Apps, VNets, Private Endpoints, NSGs.
Strong knowledge of IaC: Terraform, Terragrunt, ARM Templates.
Kubernetes: Helm, NGINX Ingress, secrets management.
CI/CD: Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines), Git.
Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python, C#.
Linux & JVM debugging: deep troubleshooting, thread dumps, heap analysis.
Observability: Grafana, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor.
Networking: strong understanding of cloud networking concepts.
Methodologies: Agile, DevOps.

Nice to Have: ArgoCD, Azure Data Factory, FinOps, self‑hosted Azure DevOps agents, Citrix, Java/.NET ecosystems.
